Strawberries and White Chocolate Rice Krispie Treats

Ingredients

  • 6 Cups Rice Krispies Cereal

  • 6 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter

  • 12 ounces Large Marshmallows

  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla

  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

  • 1 1/2 Cups Freeze Dried Strawberries (Big Bag), lighted chopped into pieces

  • 1 Cup White Chocolate Chips

Directions

  • Line a 9x9 square baking dish with parchment paper and grease the paper with cookie spray.

  • Measure and set aside the Rice Krispies cereal.

  • In a large pan over medium low heat, add the butter and cook, stirring occasionally until the butter is melted.

  • Add marshmallows and salt, cook, stirring until the marshmallows are completely melted. Remove from heat and then add the vanilla.

  • Pour the Rice Krispies into the mixture, and use a silicone spatula to fold everything together.

  • Fold in the strawberries and white chocolate chips, reserving a couple tablespoons of each for a garnish on top.

  • Transfer the combined mixture into the prepared dish, partially pat the mixture. Top with the remaining strawberries and white chocolate, and give a final press.

  • Put in the fridge for 20 minutes to set, and then remove from pan and cut and enjoy!

Notes

  • These are best ate the day they are made, but also okay the next day.
