Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 Cups All-Purpose Flour

  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar

  • 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder

  • 1/2 Teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 Teaspoon Baking Soda

  • 1 2/3 Cups Whole or Butter Milk

  • 4 Tablespoons Butter, melted

  • 2 Large Eggs

  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla

Directions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and baking soda until evenly mixed.

  • Create a well in the center of the dry mixture and pour in the milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla.

  • Gently whisk until just combined, it’s okay if the batter is slightly lumpy.

  • Preheat your griddle or nonstick skillet over medium heat (about 350°F) until a droplet of water sizzles on contact.

  • Using a 1/2 cup measuring cup, pour the batter onto the hot griddle to form circles.

  • Cook until small bubbles appear and the edges begin to set, about 2-3 minutes.

  • Carefully flip the pancakes and cook until golden brown, another 1-2 minutes.
