Italian Sausage Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Italian Sausage

  • 1/2 Diced Onion

  • 2 Cloves Garlic or 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes

  • 4 Cups Chicken Broth

  • 1 Can Petite Diced Tomatoes

  • 8 Ounces of Ditalini or Cheese Tortellini

  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning

  • 1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese

  • 4 Ounces Cream Cheese, softened

  • 1/2 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream

  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions

  • Cook sausage and onion, drain grease.

  • Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cook for an additional minute.

  • Add broth, tomatoes, and italian seasoning.

  • Bring to a boil, add pasta.

  • Reduce heat, and simmer until pasta is cooked.

  • Add cream cheese, whipping cream and parmesan cheese, let cook an additional 3-5 minutes.

  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
