Chocolate Chip Cookies

About 4 Dozen Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 Cups All-Purpose Flour

  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda

  • 1 teaspoon Salt

  • 1 Cup (2 sticks) unsalted Butter, softened

  • 3/4 Cup Sugar

  • 3/4 Cup light or dark Brown Sugar, packed

  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla

  • 2 Large Eggs

  • 2 Cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  • In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until creamy.

  • Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

  • Beat in flour mixture gradually.

  • Stir in chocolate chips.

  • Form balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.

  • Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.

  • Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes, and then transfer to a wire rack to cool.
