Baked Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs

Ingredients

  • 2 Pounds Bone-In, Skin-On Chicken Thighs

  • 1/3 Cup Honey

  • 1/4 Cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce

  • 5 Cloves Garlic, minced

  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil

  • 1 teaspoon Paprika

  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper

  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes, optional

  • 1 Tablespoon Parsley or Green Onions, chopped, for garnish

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 400 Degrees. Grease a baking dish or sheet pan.

  • Pat chicken dry with paper towels. Season both sides with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  • Whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, olive oil, and red pepper flakes.

  • Place chicken skin-side up in prepared dish. Pour sauce over top.

  • Bake uncovered 35 to 45 minutes, until internal temperature reaches 165 Degrees. Halfway through, spoon sauce over chicken.

  • Broil 2 to 3 minutes for extra caramelization.

  • Rest 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley or green onions and extra sauce.

Notes

  • Use a meat thermometer to confirm the chicken has reached 165 Degrees without overcooking.

  • Leave space between the chicken thighs on the pan so heat circulates evenly.
