Baked Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs
Ingredients
2 Pounds Bone-In, Skin-On Chicken Thighs
1/3 Cup Honey
1/4 Cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce
5 Cloves Garlic, minced
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
1 teaspoon Paprika
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes, optional
1 Tablespoon Parsley or Green Onions, chopped, for garnish
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 Degrees. Grease a baking dish or sheet pan.
Pat chicken dry with paper towels. Season both sides with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, olive oil, and red pepper flakes.
Place chicken skin-side up in prepared dish. Pour sauce over top.
Bake uncovered 35 to 45 minutes, until internal temperature reaches 165 Degrees. Halfway through, spoon sauce over chicken.
Broil 2 to 3 minutes for extra caramelization.
Rest 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley or green onions and extra sauce.
Notes
Use a meat thermometer to confirm the chicken has reached 165 Degrees without overcooking.
Leave space between the chicken thighs on the pan so heat circulates evenly.
